M. Henry Jones has been a resident artist/scientist of the East Village in New York City for over three decades. He is the founder and director of downtown Manhattan’s SnakeMonkey 3-D Studio. SnakeMonkey has launched numerous innovations in 3-D photography and animation. He has recently pioneered a unique 3-D still process known as “Fly’s Eye.” In addition to 3-D, his work includes animated short films, music videos, innovative TV commercials, and a host of experimental web clips.
As quoted in the New York Times, “The work I’m doing is cutting-edge,” said Mr. Jones. “It’s the type of work that would have been done at Bell Labs, except that I’m over here in the East Village.”
