For the next leg of the trip, we flew up to Bagan from Yangon. Bagan is one of the most spectacular places on earth, which also makes it the main tourist destination in Myanmar. It was actually the first time in four days that I had seen any Western tourists, which played out to be ironically delightful.

Coachella 2012 | Weekend One
Traveling out of the sunless heart of the sunshine state, my journey to the desert had begun as a heated lie. Indio was the the place and the event was Coachella. Weather day 1 was a cold bitch and the haze was only felt by the clouds. The general public was prude to the chance of enlightenment. I felt a change. What was happening to Coachella? What was happening to music festivals?
