Christie’s Rolls Over to the Darkside

Talk about going awol, Christie’s has taken a step towards ridiculing the counterculture that is skateboarding for the benefit of sales in contemporary art. This isn’t the first time a company has gone this direction, (especially in fashion: Jeremy Scott, DKNY, ect.), yet this time seems to be so poorly thought out by one of the largest and most defining auction houses in the world that all that can be said is, “what are you thinking?”
